The Council would also like to explore ways to develop the website further making it more interactive with a fresh new design, which will ultimately replace the existing website.

Prospective partners are invited to look at the current website and provide their proposals and costing to the Parish Clerk by Friday 14 August 2020 for consideration.

In addition, the Parish Council will be happy to receive recommendations for local web developers.

Handyman/person Contractor Required

by Coleorton Parish Council

Coleorton Parish Council is inviting tenders from interested parties to undertake a variety of "handyman" works in and around the village of Coleorton, on a pay as you go basis. There will be a requirement for some work on an ad hoc basis, and some works may be required on a regular basis.

Duties will be varied and may include: repair work, cutting hedges, strimming overgrown weeds, checking play equipment, relocating speed indication device twice monthly, putting up lamppost poppies, assist at parish events, erect Xmas tree, deputise for the wood opening, plus other tasks to keep the village clean and tidy.

The work would suit a local person with some time to spare. He/she will be self-employed, have the necessary skills, equipment, insurance, and transport.

All activities must be supported by suitable and sufficient risk assessments and safe systems of work. PPE highlighted within the risk assessments will be funded by the council.

Candidates will be required to attend an interview and references will be taken.
