Summary notes

  • A celebration to mark 100 years since the end of World War One is planned and will now take place on 14th November at Viscount Beaumont School
  • The Parish Notice Boards on Beaumont Green and the Moorlands have been refurbished and look much smarter
  • HS2 representatives informed the meeting about the Working draft Environmental Statement and Equality Impact Assessment (see presentation below)
  • A petition to change the boundary to the Parish is available for signature at The Post Office
  • Two crimes were reported in August and three in September although two of these were just outside the parish
  • The crime prevention evening at The New Inn went well
  • Next meeting: Thursday 1st November 7.30pm at the Beaumont Centre, Nottingham Road, Peggs Green
