Parish Council Meeting

Thursday 8 December 2011 at The Beaumont Centre

Summary Notes

  • Only 4 crimes were reported in the past 48 days – but unfortunately one of these involved a break-in at a house. PCSO Tim Hulse reminds parishioners that the new number for non-urgent calls to the police is 101. 999 is still the emergency number.
  • The Coleorton 2000 Committee (C2C) reported that the renovation of the bakehouse is almost complete. They are going to design a display board to explain the history of the site
  • The Parish Council has received information about possible plans for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. This includes a beacon at New Lount Nature Reserve, a celebration organised by the school with the C2C and a fayre at the New Lount Bowls Club
  • The precept for the Parish was agreed at 14,000 a significant reduction on the previous financial year

Next meeting: 2nd February 2012
At: Beaumont Centre
