Summary Report of meeting

  • The Public Enquiry concerning the Gypsy Caravan site met again on 7th February 2011. Both parties provided their closing statements and we now await the Planning Inspector’s decision More info on the appeal >>
  • There have been several thefts in the Parish recently – including theft of heating oil from a tank
  • Ruth Mulvaney (Street Environmental Manager, NWLDC) attended the meeting to discuss the team’s work on reducing litter, fly tipping and dog fouling. She is to help us organise a litter pick in the parish in the next month or so.
  • There was a generally positive response to the electronic speed monitoring sign trial. The council are now investigating the cost and whether there are any alternatives
