  • Inaugural meeting of U3A in Melbourne on Thursday 7 September 2pm at Melbourne Assembly Rooms (opposite the Viscount Lamb pub). This is a new U3A group starting up in Melbourne. The U3A is for anyone who is retired or semi-retired. Come along - it is your chance to join interest groups, put forward ideas for activities you would like to do and make friends.   • Heritage Open Days: Worthington Chapel Saturday 9 September. Worthington Chapel is opening its doors from 10am to 12 noon. There will be exhibits and related activities, including WWII memories and Poppy making. Tea and coffee will be available.
