Complaints Policy

Coleorton Parish Council aims to provide an excellent environment for the parishioners of Coleorton.

In the event of a formal complaint, the resident should complete a complaint form and send this to the parish clerk by email parishclerk@coleorton.org.uk or hard copy.

The clerk will log the complaint noting the date of receipt.

The clerk will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 5 working days, although this timescale will be increased in the event of the clerk being on holiday.

The complaint will be investigated by the clerk including consulting with Councillors or agents of the Council as required.

The clerk will provide a full written response to the complaint within 20 working days of the date the complaint was raised. A copy will be sent to the Chair of the Council and a summary of the complaint, response and any agreed future action required to rectify the complaint will be logged on the complaints log.
